Podcast: The Blazing Donkey wedding venue near Sandwich went under owing £380,000 to couples – but they won’t get a penny

More than 50 couples who had their dream weddings cancelled after a popular Kent venue went under with just 62p in the bank will not receive any of their money back.

It’s after the Blazing Donkey Country Hotel fell into administration in September owing more than £380,000 to those booked to be married there.

Also in today’s podcast, Reform UK council leader Linden Kemkaran has raised fears that an upcoming BBC documentary may “splice together” things she has said to “make her look bad”.

The leader of Kent County Council posted told social media followers this morning she has a “genuine dilemma”.
